Lead Product Design & Co-founder, Code Ar.my, Kuala Lumpur, Oct 2013 - Nov 2018; As a Product Design Lead & Co-founder at Code Army, my role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, all focused on developing and guiding the strategic direction of our product offerings and fostering entrepreneurial growth within the company. In 2013, I helped establish Code Army in London, UK as a unique online platform that assists non-technical business entrepreneurs in developing their products and launching their startups with the aid of experienced CTOs. This venture was possible through successful fundraising from Malaysian angel investors and government agencies. As part of our expansion, in 2014, Code Army became the head for Lean Startup Machine (LSM) in Malaysia, conducting our early program in partnership with Microsoft Malaysia. The following year, we became Asia's first representative for Lean Startup Machine's Global Advisory Board, subsequently signing a partnership agreement to act as the official regional partner for 14 countries. One of our landmark achievements was in 2015, when we partnered with Khazanah Nasional, the strategic investment fund of the Malaysian Government, to launch Project Brainchild. This was Malaysia's first-ever program aimed at existing employees of Khazanah and Khazanah-linked companies, intending to unearth and develop entrepreneurial talents. Under my leadership, Code Army has developed a detailed curriculum, lesson plans, training session plans, and instructional content, delivering knowledge transfer from training workshops to behaviour changes. These efforts transformed 1,000 entrepreneurs and professionals in less than three years and validated over 500 products, leading to a combined startup valuation of RM15mil (USD3.6mil) and RM3mil (USD722k) in funding raised. As the Product Design Lead, my duties include overseeing end-to-end product design for our global online platform. Using game thinking, we assist startups and companies of all sizes in building virtual teams remotely. Leveraging my extensive product design experience, I collaborate closely with game design experts, designers, and engineers to create a world-class application. Creative Director, Digitalyst, Kuala Lumpur, Aug 2006 - Nov 2007; I was accountable for developing and executing creatives for all email marketing campaigns that drives high open rates and click through rates. I report directly to the CTO and CEO while working closely with senior copywriter, systems engineer and other stakeholders. We were the only licensed media vendor to market 4,000,000 permission based emails.

Art Director Interactive, Leo Burnett and Arc Worldwide, Kuala Lumpur, Aug 2005 - Jul 2006; I joined reputable advertising agency Leo Burnett reported directly to one of Malaysia's leading creative executive creative director, Tan Kien Eng as the first Art Director under Arc Worldwide (Subsidiary of Leo Burnett Malaysia) to lead all interactive and digital marketing creatives. I was responsible for Malaysia Airlines first web reservation system application design, customer experience, digital campaign creatives across all 13 operating Malaysian Airlines countries websites. When I'm not at the account, I've produced creatives for Ford, Petronas, Phillip Morris and Leo Burnett.

Imaging Director, Intecture, Kuala Lumpur, Mar 2004 - Mar 2005; Following on the success of the imaging department setup, I lead a team of smart individuals to develop design parameters for all projects, develop design briefings, and lead development of new businesses. Faced many design challenges to persuade local councils to adopt cutting edge interfaces, integration of legacy systems, councils user behaviours and user experience model. In this role, I'm required to lead the imaging department capabilities and build it as a business unit. I'm responsible for process cost estimates, purchase orders, profitability and related financial reportings.

Senior Imaging Technologist, Kuala Lumpur, Nov 2003 - Mar 2004; I moved to join Malaysia's first e-submission application for building plans submission; the VAE. Reporting directly to the CEO, I was hired as the first team member to setup the internal imaging department that I'm responsible for all product imaging requirements that includes; creative and art direction across all mediums, product design, technology strategy and development, marketing communications and collateral designs. I successfully helped the CEO to developed and established the imaging department internally needed to ensure product designs and imaging requirements are kept at a very high standard.

Senior Design Technologist, Motionworks, Kuala Lumpur, Oct 2001 - Oct 2003; I made a career jump to join a two-man design boutique agency, Motionworks to play on the next level as a digital designer. I report and work directly to a talented Australian creative director and designer on all digital related projects. Started as a two-man agency when I joined, the team grew to a total of 15 people working on huge multi-million digital projects with multi national corporations and brands such as Tabung Haji, Proton, and Proton Edar. I developed a high sensitivity of design and detail which contributed to the credibility of the agency to grow and continue in the years to come. I face the most demanding client ever in history and that had shaped me to developed client servicing skill as a designer. It is with that demand that had shaped and propel my skill forward to the next level.

Web Designer, CICAKnet, Kuala Lumpur, Aug 2000 - Sep 2001; I decided CICAKnet as my first company to start my digital design career because the founder, Izham Ismail was crazy enough to believe in my capabilities, attitude, and determination to become a great designer. I was accountable to ensure that all designs and development activities was to be produced by me. I determined the creative direction and concepts. Translating those ideas by using standard HTML/CSS practices. Working and dealing with client is one of the responsibilities. I enjoy interacting with clients as I get first hand understanding and empathy of their problem. The greatest challenge working here was the fact I have a steep learning curve to learn new web technologies such as Macromedia flash, dreamweaver and director to produce digital interactive applications. This philosophy of selfless service underpins the purpose behind the establishment of Pertubuhan Al-Khaadem, which is to help all mankind, spiritually and physically. Established in 1984 and officially launched in 1992, Al-Khaadem is a Malaysian humanitarian charitable body committed to helping those in need through effective charity and as guided by the Noble Qur’an and the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). We serve mankind regardless of colour or creed, to reflect Islam’s compassion. Our community-based work focuses on engaging the public through education at our centre, seasonal activities/outreach programmes and mission-based initiatives. Worldwide, Al-Khaadem deploys aid and relief on a need-is-greatest basis to help the marginalised and vulnerable in communities affected by crises such as military and political conflicts, famine and poverty, and floods and earthquakes.
